My Story
After eighteen-year-old Travis Geier leads police on a painfully slow car chase, he is tasked with straightening out his young life. Travis finds himself working at a Catholic thrift store in his hometown of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. At work, he has an inkling that all isn’t what it seems at his new place of employment. Travis discovers that all of the employees are stealing donations from the thrift store. Soon, Travis gets his motorcycle gang member grandpa a job as the donations manager.
Together, Travis and his grandpa start a series of money schemes that make them legends in their own minds. The gangster biker and his young grandson must navigate the criminal underworld of the Catholic thrift store. Along the way, they coexist with colleagues who are thieves, sex addicts, and crackheads. This is the true story of a grandpa and grandson turning trash into treasure. Travis and his grandpa aren't just family; they are the Thrift Store Mafia!

Travis Geier is the author of Thrift Store Mafia and The Junk Truck. He resides with his family in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Travis’ best friend is his retired racing Greyhound, Fiction. He is an avid fan of Garfield the Cat and horror movies. Travis previously performed long-form improv comedy, and scare acted in haunted houses for 7 years. Travis is a recovered addict who carries the message of sobriety.
